Fort Worth dog shows

This was a lovely surprise of a weekend for us! Sassi, who has been on hiatus from the show ring as she has been concentrating on field work as she matures, re-entered the show world and what a return! On Saturday at the Fort Worth Kennel Club show, she took Winner’s Bitch and then Best of Winners for a 3-point major! The judge was Helen Lee James, who also gave Duri Best of Opposite Sex.

On Sunday, the judge was Dorothy Welsh, who also rewarded Sassi with Winner’s Bitch for another 2 points towards her championship. Duri again took BOS even though she was being naughty trying to be with mother (that would be me) in the ring.
