This was our first II to attend, although we did go to the ASFA Irrational Grand National at the same location almost a year ago. What an event!

On Saturday, Sassi placed 4th in a Field Champion stake of 19 dogs. Monkee placed NBQ.

On Sunday, Sassi placed NBQ after some nice runs. I think we got, well…. , screwed by the Canadian judge who was there – he gave her a score that was 13 points lower than the other judge’s! C’est la vie – we still had a good time, visiting with friends, some of whom we had seen the previous weekend in Georgia.

Now running season is over for us in Texas until September – time to take a well-deserved break (in between shows!)
