On Saturday, it was a BCOA Supported Entry hosted by the Lone Star Borzoi Club. In the Sweeps classes, judged by Chris Swilley (Renaissance Borzoi) Kalipso took second in his class, Rocki took first in his (9-12) and Sassi took 3rd of 6 in hers (12-15 month). In the Regular classes, judged by John Reeve-Newsom (Kishniga), the boys didn’t fare as well (3rd and 2nd, respectively), and Sassi took 3rd of seven in the Bred-By class. Monkee took 2nd in a large Open Bitch entry (9).

On Sunday our judge was George Heitzman, and he decided that this weekend he didn’t like Kalipso as much as the day he gave him Reserve to a 4-point major, placing him 3rd in his class today. Sassi took 2nd of 7 in the BBE class, placing behind the eventual winner. Monkee again took 2nd in the Open class. Doodle took Best of Opposite Sex, competing against several nice bitch specials.
