Travis County Kennel Club dog shows
Since Victor and I were unable to attend these shows, we decided to send Rocki with Jill, in addition to Duri, as we had heard they were trying to build majors. We are quite proud of the boy, as he had never met Jill before and he handled the whole experience like a pro. On Saturday, Rocki was placed 2nd of 4 in the Open Dog class and Duri took Best Oppostie Sex. On Sunday, Rocki won the...

RMCC ASFA Lure Trials, Wellington, CO
Sassi won the Field Champion stake both days and also won Best of Breed on Sunday. Both days she had run-offs with fresh dogs attending their first-ever lure trial. Rocki placed 3rd of 4 and NBQ of 6 in the Open stake, having some bad luck with a lure op burying him in a corner one day, and still being a bit leary of other very enthusiastic dogs after his bad experiences while attending the...
Humble shows
Humble/Baytown Show Cluster
October 3-6, 2003
Duri traveled down near Houston with Jill for these shows, and we can’t complain too badly about her performance, especially considering that she is a young, dark colored girl just starting out in the Specials ring. She won Best of Breed on Friday and Saturday (under judges Joan Frailey and Sharon Rhinelander – both being Hound people) and went Best Opposite Sex on Sunday under Carla...
GIT LGRA, September 2003
September 28-29
GIT LGRA Meet, Lake Lavon, TX
On Saturday we had an entry of 17 dogs, including the current #1 LGRA Borzoi who travelled down from the far NE. Flareon was hot on his heels for a 2nd placement, earning 3 more NGRC points. We were also super happy with Perci’s performance, coming in 5th overall and second of the non-GRC dogs. He earned 2 more points towards his GRC.
On Sunday the entry was 18. Flareon again placed 2nd for...
