I (Lynn) made the annual trip up to the Colorado February cluster of dog shows in Denver with Moose, Demi and Sassi. Got to spend time with Nadine and meet up with several of our friends residing in the CO area.

At the Rocky Mountain Borzoi Club specialty on Saturday, Moose and Demi both received placements in nice-sized classes (Bred-By and Open) and Sassi went on to win Specialty Best Opposite Sex under breeder/judge Patricia Ellis-Ulloa.

Sunday was not a particularly good day for us but on Monday under judge William Cunningham, Sassi won Best of Breed in a large entry then went on to be invisible in the Hound Group (under Sunday’s judge ). Moose picked up third place in the Bred-By Exhibitor Dog class.

Sassi’s wins this weekend were a bit special since I was the one handling her instead of our handler and friend Jill Bell!
